Skin tags, moles and warts are quite common and they’re easy to remove .
Insurance companies don’t cover skin tag removal because they are considered cosmetic problems. If you want to get rid of these unsightly lesions, you may have to spend a little money. It’s expensive to have warts, moles and skin tags removed, and not everyone can afford it; however, there are good home remedies you can use yourself to get rid of them.
Skin tags can be easily scraped or cut off. But you must be careful because you can develop an infection. Be certain you are aware of what you are doing and that the nail clippers and scissors are sterilized before you go ahead. Disinfect the materials you plan to use with sanitizer or fire. You should keep some bandages and cotton nearby in case cutting the skin tags results in bleeding.
Freezing is an additional way to get rid of skin tags, warts and moles. Previously, this technique was only done by doctors however now you can now buy ‘freezing’ products at the store. You must follow the instructions to the letter. This only works with small skin tags. The ‘freezing’ formulas come in kits that are more affordable than being treated by doctors.
Another method is to cut the blood supply of the skin tags and other skin lesions. You can do this by tying a tight knot at the skin tag’s base. The string should be tied tightly. You can have someone tie the knot for you to ensure the tightness. Leave the string on for a couple of days.
You can remove moles, warts, and skin tags with a number of effective home methods. First, you must be certain your skin lesions aren’t cancerous. You should see your doctor if you experience a dramatic change in the size, color or appearance of warts, moles, or skin tags. This is the first indication that cancer may be present. Also, if you have any problems with the home methods mentioned, see a doctor.
It is very important to follow safety procedures and if you have doubts you should see a doctor. In addition to the home remedies we’ve just listed, there are herbal remedies you can use. If you try all these methods, and you still have warts, moles, and/or skin tags, you should visit a doctor.
Despite the cost, you know you are being taken care of. A doctor can promise you that moles, warts, and skin tags will be eliminated. Most of the techniques can be done in a few hours and don’t require you to stay in the hospital overnight.
